This is an wonderful Antique Biedermeier Bookcase c1820-40 with original key.  It is raised upon cushioned feet with a complicated double custion to the base.  To the side of each door is a turned and carved pilaster both canted.  The main doors have two glazing bars with three panes of glass in each.  It comes with its original key with the lock being in the right hand door and the dummy lock being in the left hand door.  The left door has a thumbnail slide bolt top and bottom.  Inside there are four fully adjustable or removable shelves.  The top has a complicated series of mouldings to crown this bookcase wonderfully.  A really great piece.
