This is a Rare and Unusual Writing Desk.  It has clearly been made in the Mid Victorian period from Quarter sawn Oak and for a very specific House.  Its designed to go seemlessly against a wall and be a pretty and practical table.  It can also be turned around and two people can sit at it as a desk very easily as the leg placement and it is on castors make it a very practical table.  It would be ideal for a Desk to go behind a sofa or against a wall.  A Rare and Unusual piece.
