This is a set of wonderful quality Shapland and Petter Arts & Crafts solid oak dining chairs c1900.  This set of 4 are raised on tapered legs to the fore having square knops to the feet with swept back legs.  The seats are drop in and have been re-upholstered about 25 years ago but is in good condition.  We do not have a policy of re-upholstery due to the fact that what ever we put on it will be wrong.The tops of the legs have a small step which can be found on alot of there chairs.  The back lean back slightly with the rounded top to the chairs and roundels in the top rail, so common by them at this point.  The back rests are slightly shaped and they are in a lovely golden oak.  A great set.
